EastEnders Flash Forward: What Do We Think Will Happen???
EastEnders have already treated us to yet another flash forward episode so we know what we're in store for this Christmas. And yet again, Max Branning is involved in all the drama (when isn't he!)
With the last flash forward, the one where we eventually found out that it was Linda Carter who killed Keanu Taylor in the hallway with the meat thermometer, we all had a lot of fun playing detective and guessing what the eventual outcome would be. So I thought we'd do it again, and try to solve the following mysteries. We've got about ten months to see if we're right!
Who is Max Branning marrying?
Like his nemesis, Ian Beale, Max is no stranger to ordering wedding cake! I think it might be Bea who is about to become the fifth Mrs. Max Branning. Something I thought even before Bea's much-publicized first appearance on the Square upon seeing the flash forward episode.
Who is the pregnant lady Max is cheating with?
I'm thinking Zoe or Priya. He's already had a fling with Zoe, and his first encounter with Priya left many of us wondering if something was about to develop between the two. Although so far - there's been nothing!
Who did Max try to have killed?
Despite his many faults, we don't see Max as a murderer even though his past actions did contribute to Steven Beale's death. I would say his ex-wife Rainie because she wants custody of her great-niece, Max's grandadughter and Steven's daughter, AJ (family trees are complicated in Walford!)
Who is the sinister figure out for revenge?
Max being Max there'll be no shortage of enemies. I would have said Rainie again (some believe the leather-gloved, gun-wielding figure is a woman) but would Rainie really hold her own niece and nephew, Lauren and Oscar at gunpoint??? So right now, I'm not sure. Maybe it's a character we're yet to be introduced to.
Why is Ian Beale Max's best man?
There's no love lost between these two so we're baffled too! Especially as it would appear that Max is marrying someone that Ian was previously involved with. Which leads us to wonder if the bride might be Ian's ex-wife, Cindy Beale??? Despite her initial hatred towards Max for the part he played in her son Steven's death, the two have been working together lately to outsmart Zoe's psychotic daughter, Jazmine, so perhaps they've got closer.
Where did baby Ethan spring from?
I.e - who are his parents? We know he is connected to the Branning family in some way so there's a strong chance he's either Jack's son or grandson.
What secret is Lauren hiding?
Either she's cheating on her husband Peter or her addiction issues have resurfaced.
I think we all already know that Oscar Branning will be in a relationship with Patrick's soon-to-arrive grandson, hence his being a part of the Trueman family. And I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not all that bothered about why Nicola Mitchell is on crutches! But you can let us know your theories about that if you wish!

I can't help thinking that this slimey Tim guy is the one Max tries to have killed. It makes sense because Tim exploited Johnny who is his daughter Annie's half brother. So it's possible. I think he's marrying Bea but the woman he's in bed with is Zoe. The person holding Oscar and Lauren hostage is... Tim? At least we know about baby Ethan as Penny has just announced her pregnancy.
