A lot of us here are into vintage items. I know I am, me! I'm into anything 1940s and 50s that will complement the design and decor of my home. I'm also into china and ceramics and you'll never stop me collecting Emma Bridgewater - past or present!
So what kind of vintage things do you look out for and collect?
I'm a New Kids fan from way back so I'm sure that it doesn't come as a surprise to anyone that I still collect lots of New Kids memorabilia. WWE stuff as well.
Goodness, my collection obsession just keeps growing! Vintage magazines and cookbooks. Well most kinds of vintage books to be honest, especially things that have a childhood connection. Anything to do with New Kids, Victoria Plum, Pierrot, certain China or ceramics... the list goes on!
For me it's scented candles. I do love my candles and I have a whole variety so whatever mood I'm in, there's always something that takes my fancy. I also collect posters, especially film posters and artwork. My husband on the other hand loves to collect toys and games from his childhood and has amassed quite a collection!
I collect a lot of vinyls. I'm a child of the seventies and eighties and I love my music. Plus I always feel that it sounds better on vinyl! I've probably got about 300 records which I know for a lot of people is a small collection but due to the lack of space and storage, I've really had to be quite strict about what I buy. I also love my silver and turquoise jewellery which I have collected since my teen years. Oh and being a travel fanatic, I like to purchase something from each country - not a tacky souvenir I hasten to add - but something that reminds me of that place I visited and the great time I spent there.
Oh yes! It's the same in our house too. We're mad on our music, we are. My husband has quite a collection of vinyl records which he will never part with for love nor money. Just don't ask me how many he has but I know it runs into the hundreds!
I don't collect anything now but when I was a teenager it was badges. Usually the type you'd get free with pop magazines that featured popstars. My school bag and jacket were often covered in them!
I loved my badges too. Not to mention stickers! My school books and anything that could get the sticker treatment would get covered with stickers of Bros, Brother Beyond, Duran Duran...

Books and scarves mostly.
I'm a Thatter from way back. I love the boys and to this day I still collect anything to do with Take That.
As a teenager and even now, it's anything to do with my idol Madonna. But these days what I tend to collect the most is... Air Miles! 😁

Because of my job, it's gardening, flower and floristry books. Even ones that are more than fifty years old. It's a real passion of mine.
