- Celebrate Good TimesSo I watched this video and it got me wondering if anyone especially young people still go clubbing now. I was a teenager in the nineties and as soon as we were allowed into clubs that's what we did. It was a big part of British youth culture. I enjoyed my time clubbing even though it wasn't something I did all the time. But every now and then I liked to go clubbing with my friends and it was always a lot of fun. But there's a lot of clubs closing and I personally don't know a whole heap of people who still go to clubs. It's sad if nobody goes anymore because I think it's something that everyone especially young people should experience. You're only young once and all that jazz. So if people don't go clubbing anymore, then what do they do now for fun? Why are so many nightclubs shutting in Britain? | BBC NewsLike
- Soap OperasExactly what it says in the title! Are they seriously pulling the same stunt they did over two years ago? What exactly are they trying to achieve? Sadly for them I don't think too many people care that the show is going to be cancelled. Everyone was up in arms before and getting very emotional. Even people who didn't watch it anymore. This time round, they don't give a $h1* whether it stays or not. The Neighbours stars are even trying to get fans to do what they can to save the show. What on earth are the fans supposed to do when the show's bigwigs can't even get it together! Ridiculous!Like
- Do You Remember..?This sounds like a rather odd question so let me explain. I was reading some youtube comments where someone got told off for using the word 'womanizer' because apparently it's so outdated and no one uses that anymore. And now that I think about it, it is so true. People will say things like 'ladies' man,' 'cheat' or player these days. There are of course more but these are just the ones I can mention. I can't remember the last time I heard someone described as a 'womanizer.' But it got me thinking about words that we all used at one time but now seem to have vanished. Of course some of them are no longer used because it's not considered part of polite conversation any more. One I can think of is 'lame' which we used to use when something wasn't good. I can't remember when that one died out but I think it's safe to say it will most definitely not be making a comeback for obvious reasons! And 'wicked' and 'groovy' well nobody uses them any more and they really do sound dated.Like
