So the day I was born Elvis Presley's Way Down was the British Number Hit at the time. And he stayed number one with this song for five weeks. I discovered this when talking to my mum about Top Forty hits and how today, I don't know what's in the Top Forty! To be honest, I didn't even think I knew this Elvis song but after playing it I realise that I have heard it before. Many times in fact.
What was Number one in your country of birth the day you were born?

Great question, Madame Bo! You know until I read this post I realized that I didn't actually know what was number one in the charts the day I made my grand entrance into the world (I like to think I've been making a grand entrance ever since!) I remember my aunts telling me that they used sing When Will I See You Again? by the Three Degrees in order to get me to sleep, so I always associated that song with me being a tiny baby. But it wasn't the number one hit single in Britain when I was born - instead it was You're The One That I Want by Olivia Newton John and John Travolta. One of the most well-known and much loved songs in the world ever... still to this day!
