So I watched this video and it got me wondering if anyone especially young people still go clubbing now. I was a teenager in the nineties and as soon as we were allowed into clubs that's what we did. It was a big part of British youth culture. I enjoyed my time clubbing even though it wasn't something I did all the time. But every now and then I liked to go clubbing with my friends and it was always a lot of fun. But there's a lot of clubs closing and I personally don't know a whole heap of people who still go to clubs. It's sad if nobody goes anymore because I think it's something that everyone especially young people should experience. You're only young once and all that jazz.
So if people don't go clubbing anymore, then what do they do now for fun?
I was a massive clubber back in the day. For me and our friends it was like the number one activity to do. We were young, we were single (most of us anyway!) So yeah, it made sense. For people of that age group, going out with your friends, having a few drinks, getting jiggy on the dancefloor - looking to pull, well that's what it's all about when you're young and single. I work in the nightlife industry, so that element of fun and socializing is still there but I do still go clubbing every now and again, depending on the occasion. Only this time, I've got the missus in tow!
