We all know that Corrie's Gail is leaving. She's been on the show for 50 years so Coronation Street is going to be very odd without her. She started on the show just a couple of years before I was born, so Gail has been there for a very long time, and I've never known Corrie without her.

I was shocked when I heard that Helen Worth was leaving the soap. Even though I don't really watch Corrie anymore, Gail was one of the constants of my life. Haha! Always been there and you believed she always would be. But of course everything has to come to an end, and Helen has given us fifty fabulous years as Gail TILSLEY (for me anyway. Yes, I'm old! ) Coronation Street is a very different soap to the one I first knew. And now with Gail departing Weatherfield, it's going to be all the more different. But at least there's still Ken Barlow!
But Gail/Helen will be missed for sure. How can she not be.
