Now that summer has descended upon us, we are officially in 'the wedding season' - and the fact that only small weddings are allowed hasn't changed that!
And it got me thinking about wedding dresses from the 1960s onwards - either famous real-life weddings or from popular culture. Which wedding gowns do you consider to be the most iconic or memorable?
I have four gowns that stand out for me:
Stephanie Seymour's very eighties, very rock chick wedding gown from Guns n' Roses' November Rain video.
Neighbours' Charlene Robinson's when she wed Scott (the wedding of all weddings!)
Princess Diana's ivory-coloured taffeta number.
And it might not be remembered by too many people but former Coronation Street actress Jennifer James' gorgeous Eleni Bridal ballgown with the red crystals when she wed fellow Corrie star Lee Boardman; iconic for me because it was the inspiration for my own wedding gown!
Over to you!
I'm a long-time Neighbours fan so it has to be Charlene's wedding dress. probably the most famous wedding gown from a TV soap!
